Chitchat Coffee & Matcha focuses equally on coffee and matcha, covering all the bases from perfected classics to inventive flavors—never sacrificing quality or craftsmanship. Their coffee is a custom blend roasted locally for balanced, complex flavor, while their matcha is the highest quality first-flush, ceremonial-grade, single-origin organic matcha from a 130-year-old, family-run tea house in Kagoshima, Japan, curated by a 10th-level chasi (tea master). First-flush matcha is harvested from the year’s first spring growth, when the leaves are at their most nutrient-dense, vibrant, and flavorful, offering unmatched umami, abundant antioxidants, and up to three times more L-theanine than later harvests. Chitchat maintains a rare, direct relationship with its Japanese suppliers, who regularly fly into Los Angeles for cupping ceremonies and quality checks to ensure every batch meets the highest standard. Clark’s Oyster Bar is a casual, all-day seafood restaurant and oyster bar inspired by the food, design, and lifestyle of the American coast.
